Following the recent publication of the UK’s most popular rude town names, including such classics as Shitterton, Bell End and Cockermouth, rude town name afficionados are up in arms today as they realised the most subtle and rude town name of all is not on the list.
Richard Proud, who lives in Funbag Drive, Watford said: “What the hell are these list compilers fannying around at – everyone knows when it comes to rude town names, top of the list has to be SCUNThorpe.”
When he heard of this, former German international soccer star Stefan Kuntz, who lives in the Austrian village of Fucking and is known as the Fucking Kuntz tweeted: "ha ha ha ha! Scunthorpe is the funniest town name I have ever heard of! LMFAO!"
