A row has broken out over the banning of distance runner Mo Stang from the Paralympic games. Officials have been concerned about Mr Stang for some time, a spokesman explained:
"We had heard rumours of drug abuse; someone said he was taking grass. But when I first met Mo he was very quiet; he answered the question about his age by stamping his front foot. However, when I tried to collect a urine sample I was, er, made to feel somewhat inadequate. That's when my suspicions were aroused."
Mo's agent, Winnie D'Loudlie, defended him. "This is discrimination, athletes with missing legs run in the games, why not athletes with extra ones? And a tail?"
Mo Stang has passed tests for steroids but failed a straw poll.
