apepper, you frustrate the shit out of me! You consistently come up with great, great ideas, then post them as 2 lines of text! It's not even enough for a NiB, but this is easily strong enough to develop into an FP. Please, please develop your ideas.
I think I'd end up with him testing positive for oats or something. And actually being shit at running, because he's more of a cart horse, or trained for gymkhana. I don't know, you could go anywhere with this. Please, have a go at a longer sub, I'm sure people would chip in. I'm up o my eyeballs with work at the moment, but someone must have time. 5 stars from me for the premise.

Yep - wot he said ape. Though I think you've turned out a few longer subs of late
Edit: Thought of a possible pantomime horse reference but see that you've raised the theme on another sub

Sorry! I got suddenly called away for some emergency programming.
I'll try and add some more text tomorrow... honest - I see it as the horse's agent getting annoyed that the doctor questioned him having four legs; "He's discriminated against; you wouldn't ban an athlete for having missing legs, so why not having extra ones."
The pantomime horse headline - 4 days too late.

The prejudice against quadropedia probably has its origins in 'Four legs good, two legs better' outcome of Orwell's Animal Farm

quadropedia was however a big hit for The Who

When asked whether he would like to comment on these accusations, the athlete replied 'neigh'.
