Adrian and Gillian Bayford, who recently scooped £145million on the Euro lottery, have decided to put the money towards buying a rail season ticket between London and Edinburgh.

"We've always liked Scotland", explained Mr Bayford, "now we can almost afford to go when we like. If only we'd won a few million more, we could have gone first class."
