Not sure if you meant to link into 'curiosity' here Golgo
"Martian feline inhabitants breeth a sigh of relief as space lander doesn't land on top of them (think cats & curiosity)"Posted 8 years ago # -
Then I have failed.

curiosity killed the cat

Golgo, when you think about it, failure is just another way of winning (but without any of the recognition or awards).

Thanks Bonjo.
Curiosity killed the cat AND it's a rover. Popular dog name in comics (I've never heard of anyone calling their dog Rover in real life. Fido. That's another one...)
I mean it's looking for life, yeah, all benign and shit, but if it finds any space cats a secret programme dubbed "The fourth law" kicks in and overrides everything else, making its eye-cameras go red (cut to shot of Curiosity's POV going red with grids and the words "4. Must Kill Cats" in green font along the bottom).
That's what this ticker is about.
But if you have to explain it...

Could this be THE new joke?

I'm not generally aware of dogs wanting to kill cats. Mostly, the cats give dogs evil stares and the dogs wisely keep their distance.
