Why can't you just get behind them? Typical! We just can't stand winners in this country.
Maybe they can have another go at using the English language in four years' time?
To be fair, no-one was expecting much from them. Not after a woman reporter on 5live described GB's chances as 'more better', shortly after proudly revealing she had achieved 'unclassified' in GCSE maths. So...how did you get this job, luv?
Denise Lewis described Jess Ennis as 'not one to wear her shirt on her sleeve'. At least that's how BBC live text quoted her.
My 11 year old son (currently competing for the gold at the London 2012 pedantics) picked up on the BBC yesterday:
