Victoria Pendleton's dad confessed to the practical joke when he was revealed as the motor cyclist riding ahead of the cyclists. "I just thought it would help Victoria deal with the pressure, if there was a bit of humour thrown in," said Mr Pendleton, before rushing off to deliver some pizza.

Like the idea. A little expansion to NiB length custard?

Mrs4fun & I were wondering what on earth the moped was doing there. And why does the rider dress up like a 1920s telegram boy? Is he going on to do a stripper-gram at a hen-night later?
