Following criticism of empty seats at Olympic venues, the BBC has agreed to open an emergency vault of Wogans to sit into the breach.
"It's an open secret at the BBC that we've been storing Wogans for emergencies", explained a spokesman. "They're looking forward to spending a bit of time in the daylight, and being sarcastic about foreigners."
Sections of various stadiums have had the seating electrified, to keep the pseudo-Wogans alert and incredulous throughout the events. "It doesn't hurt the Wogans, in fact most of them enjoy it", explained the spokesman. "And we can always crank the current up a bit, if we spot any rogue Moyles's."
