Pharmaceutical company EpoPharma has taken an early lead in the Olympic constructors championship after winning gold across a number of events on the first day of Olympic competition.
The CEO of EpoPharma said, "It makes me proud to see one of our scientists standing on the podium in a white labcoat with tears of joy visible from behind her safety spectacles."
Stacy Poole, one of the gold medal winning team of pharmacologists said, "standing on the podium was a moment I will remember for the rest of my life. It makes all the effort in getting to this point so worthwhile, the years of studying, the long hours in the laboratory. I hope my success will inspire young people to become research scientists."
Lord Coe expressed his delight at the success of the competition within a competition that is the Olympic constructors championship saying, "At last performancing enhancing drugs and the talented scientists behind them are finally getting the public recognition they deserve. Without these drugs, athletes would be no faster than the blokes in a typical pub football team, there would be no elite sport and no Olympics."
The favourite to win the Olympic constructors championship and defend their current title is the secretive research laboratory of Dr Chang.
