Peter Jackson to sue Danny Boyle for plagiarism

Just thought the first bit looked like Hobbiton, that's all.
I thought so too, especially when it was invaded by Mordor. How does the rhyme go? 5 rings to bind them...
The vision of Mordor was inspired by Tolkien's visit to the industrial north. He was appalled at the choking pollution and rape of the English countryside. Therefore Boyle is relaying the same vision as Tolkien, a much travelled road well explored by many English writers past and present.
The explanation isn't funny either.
And the eye of Mordor was inspired by the clock tower at Birmingham University where he was when he wrote it. Didn't have to travel far to see heavy industry then.
Other parts of Middle Earth were inspired by the countryside and woodland around the village of Roos near where I grew up in east Yorkshire. And for the record Salmon it wasn't really meant to be funny - more of an observation.
