Oh I see. Perhaps Little John was aptly named and who would wish to get real with someone called Robin, or maybe she was just plain ugly.

A pedantic point, perhaps, Mr Griffin, but surely there is a redundancy in your closing words? Being plain is much the same as being ugly. So you think Little John and Robin were an item?
You wonder any of them got round to sex, really. They must all have had rotten teeth and have been in need of some Sure roll-on, not to mention the state of their underneaths.

In my Oxford Pocket Anglo-Saxon - Old French dictionary 'Marion' is translated as 'bon calot'. I suppose having only a reasonable calot was a source of great shame.
