The closest I'd planned to get to London in August was my TV screen.

The idea of being stuffed in a sweaty tube, cheek by jowel with hundreds of greasy tourists...is beginning to turn me on actually, so you never know. I might come.

Um as you've probably guessed dvo is on the naughty step at the moment. Not quite sure if there is a clique, but that's just probably cos I'm definitely not in it. We have some new writers on the scene, but haven't heard much from Vertically Challenged Giant for a while. Not saying dvo had anything to do with it but...

I live in bonny jockland so London beers are out of the question. However I'll just drink more when I'm at home to make up for it.

As for you Wallster, I'd advise you to be careful. Having an orgasm is illegal on the tube. At least it is on the Bakerloo line at 7.20 on a Wednesday morning while pulling in to Maida Vale, or so I was told.
As for drinkies. I'm often to be found at the Seamus and Semtex on Cricklewood Broadway after morning assembly. Come on up, you south London softies.

Why not take the biscuit beers on the road - oput to the provinces so to speak especially as that there London is a bit busy over the next month or so with "lots of running and jumping and chucking and shit"
