   Hey, the great Jeni B. told me that some of you have been trying to contact me. (And, not about money I owe you.) The sad news is that my German shepherd Rikkor (AKA LVR) died last week. We had 11 great years together.

   Thank you all who were trying to contact me with condolences. Jeni told me my mailbox here was full.

   Anyway, don't want to be a downer. I can't remember now why I stopped visiting here. I will be better in the future. Thanks again, Rikkor/Steve

   The first person who makes a cnut-y comment while I am trying to be sincere will renew my faith in NewsBiscuit.

   Actually Rikkor, button has a point...it's probably your turn to carry the torch. I think everybody in the UK has had their go by now and we've still got 10 days to go.

    Condolences, but Wahay, he's back.

    Rikkor was recently asked to judge a premier Cocktail making event at the Pegu Club in New York. Upon his arrival in the city he sampled some 20 different cocktails, but after that he was too p*ssed to find his way to the Pegu Club for the competition.

    Will that do?
