Back in the day, when I was staying in various cockroach pits in Thailand, I recall that the colour of choice for young tourists was tie-dyed, bought cheap on the Kho Sahn road before it was tarted up.

I have done and published reports of ethnographic studies in Thailand, Mr Quaz and feel very sad about the state of affairs there, at the mo. I have turned down a visiting professorship there as it ain't safe. I hope to go back, though. I am very fond of the country.
