Colombian songstress Shakira has admitted to deceiving fans with the lyrics of her hit song ‘hips don’t lie’
‘I’ve lost count of the amount of the times my hips have bull shitted’ said a tearful yet still sexy Shakira to a packed United Nations Assembly.
‘On many an occasion I have shaken my hips in a seductive way to convince a chap that I desired him, when in fact I only wanted him to buy me a cocktail, or in extreme circumstances - a necklace’
There was a smug response from many of the white male delegates.
‘Ah you see, we may dance badly but at least we’re sincere’ said one quintessentially northern European spokesman ‘I don’t even use my hips when I dance. Just my knees and my right arm, leaving the left arm free for bottled lager’
Shakira has promised to be more vigilant about misleading lyrics in the future. Her new song ‘The way you look doesn’t actually matter’ will be released in August.
