Doctors have called for Health Secretary Andrew Lansley to resign, saying they have "no confidence" in him.
Hamish Meldrum, chair of the British Medical Association, says
"Lansley is an absolute disgrace, his well thought out and totally reasonable proposals for future funding of our pension completely undermined the recent day of action."
Doctors took action for the first time in almost 40 years last week, reportedly resulting in a five minute delayed appointment for Amy Thrush at a GP's surgery in Warrington and heavy rain at Stonehenge.
