offlineMemberAnd to make it worse he hasn't returned the prison library copy of 'Escape from Alcatraz'. Though I rather see it in black & white & as an Ealing Comedy, with Wilfred Hyde-White in a major role.
I do hope he was whistling the theme from 'The Great Escape' as he walked off down the street.

I wonder...if I got imprisoned, I think I'd dream up outlandish escape attempts to pass the time...and take my mind off the appalling things the bigger boys were doing to my weedy bespectacled body

offlineMemberdvo4fun, good call on Wilfred Hyde-White he was great. I like the old studio approach when people became big time actors without having to be able to act at all. There's too much emoting in films now. Much prefer the old-timey approach where chaps like Wilf, Dennis Price and Jack Hawkins were effortlessly stylish and fantastically pissed in every film they made.
