Following on from England's defeat by penalties and the anti-Italian disturbances last night in the town centre racial tensions are high in Bedford today.

i have been to bedford, most of them cant use a can opener anyway, so a boycott is no big deal there.

Think it works as a ticker. Expansion could involve "egging Domino's" or similar. As Sainsbury's Italian brand face perhaps Jamie Oliver could feature somewhere.

I used to live in Bedford, one of its few selling points is the Italian community. Brilliant supermarket, couple of great restaurants, and a brilliant pizzeria. Unfortunately, the rest of the town is full of pig-ignorant, gobby little twats.

I am so glad I left when I did.
