With Doctor Surgeries closing their doors to any non-emergency cases on Thursday many patients have taken to self-diagnosis and the majority of them are not long for this world.
Betty Wright, 60, had a scheduled appointment with her doctor but after it was cancelled logged on to the internet for help. ‘I’ve had this awful pain in my leg the last week or so. She wasn’t the only one, Mark Bright found out he had skin cancer. ‘There has been this horrible brown mark on my arm for a while, it’s rough to touch. It has all the hallmarks of … hold on. It just fell off. This is actually a Bran Flake.’
