The education minister has long been a advocate of the Luddite's approach to technology and has now banned the use of computers in schools. "They didn't have them when I was at school and they seem to make the children lazy" In future all schools will be issued with abacuses,one for each pupil, but as Mr Gove says, "I wouldn't count on them". Following on from this Gove intends to introduce slates and sand-trays to replace consumables like books and pens. "We have to consider the planet and think GREEN", says the minister, "Using reusable resources like these will help a great deal."
