Didn't know too much about Dennis Skinner but in this interview he comes across as a politician of conviction and honour. Are there any more? My local MP is a Bible-bashing Tory whack-job, I've never lived somewhere where the local MP wasn't either a loon or a git. Do any of you?

I've met the 'Beast' several times and what impresses most is the fact that he engages you fully and continued the arguement we had three years prior!
My favourite Skinnerism is when he said "half of the members opposite are liars", the Speaker instructed him to withdraw the statement, which he did by saying "half of the members opposite are not liars". Brilliant.Posted 11 months ago #
