The Scottish National Party have announced that retaining Stirling is central to their independence plans. Speculation had been mounting on the viability of a Stirling enclave remaining in the “rump” United Kingdom and whether it should be extended to encompass Alloa or even Falkirk.
“It is unthinkable that the home of James I should remain outside an independent Scotland”, a spokesman stated, “or that East Stirling football club should compete in the English system where there is no restriction on annual relegation”.

I think this idea could be developed
Independent Scotland will continue to drive on the left, speak the English language and maintain a huge sense of injustice over nothing in particular.
