Apple has once again stolen a march on its competitors, by announcing that iPad 4 will feature a built-in air freshener. Ideally suited for use in the smallest room in the house, the breakthrough was described by one analyst as ‘a breath of fresh air’.
With tablet and smartphone use on the rise in 84% of toilets, Apple is planning to develop a steady stream of apps that can take on the strain. Future products could even include built-in air quality sensors, that allow software to announce when a courtesy flush is required.
“Apple prides itself in listening to its customers”, said a spokesman. “Although sometimes, that requires a strong stomach.” The company is currently developing a range of anti-bacterial covers for their products, but has scrapped plans for a 2-ply iPhone, that would have been soft enough for wiping your arse.
