Jesus. That could kill the franchise! Maybe they could tie up all the loose ends for the fans, in a one-off feature film? Given the state of the witnesses' memories, I'd call it 'Senility'.

(Only works for Firefly fans, though. This could be worth expanding! Maybe Fox cancels the Leveson franchise, claiming that no-one was really watching?)
