   While researching an article on atrocities in WW2, I happened across this on Amazon:

   The book description clearly positions it as a pro-Nazi text. I’ve complained to Amazon, and if anyone else cares, could you do the same?

   How do you complain about it?

   I wasn't sure until I got to page 22 of the preview (it was just rambling crap until then) but it's clearly a holocaust denier's wet dream. If you're in any doubt, have a look at the publisher's website: racist, extreme right poison. They've even denied the racist attacks on football supporters in the Ukraine, which we watched on telly. It would be laughable if it wasn't so dangerous.

   Hell's teeth. I read the first few pages with a kind of awful fascination & disbelief.

   'Holocaust' and 'survivor' in italics both in speech marks? And Holocaustianity? So it didn't really happen then. That's a relief

   As I may have said on some other thread in times past, Mrs 4fun's father pitched up at Belsen in his tank just a few days after the first allied troops. Those troops first on the scene must have really got stuck in to produce such an elaborate & effective deception; wonder where they got the actors?.

   I’ve had feedback from ‘Searchlight’ - the anti-fascist organisation. Apparently, Amazon never respond to complaints about neo-nazi materials for sale on their website. Stumped.

   Fascinating read. Bizarre beyond belief.

   I learnt that during the First World War saurkrautt was renamed 'victory cabbage' in America, at a time when Dachshunds and Saxe-Coburg-Gothas were on dodgy ground in England.

   I learned that King Alfred the Great referred to the English as the 'Angelcynn

   And I saw a wonderful example of an author dropping a few interesting facts that could readily be presumed correct to draw the credibility of the reader, before slamming in the rabid filth it ran on to.

   Confidence tricksters, Jehova's witnesses, Holocaust deniers...same stunts.

   Derren Brown does it better, and doesn't leave you feeling a bit sick.

   Why the censorship? Why not do something positive like write BAD REVIEWS about the book, or even make up stuff that isn't in the book but makes it sound idiotic. Use the NB force for good not evil.

   There's plenty of deranged crap on Amazon. And plenty more dangerous rubbish in WH Smiths or any second hand book store. But I don't complain that there's rubbish, I just find the good stuff.

    Why the censorship? Because when bigotry goes unchallenged, people end up getting hurt. If one neo-nazi numbskull uses the book as justification for beating up a Jew, a gay or a black person, then I’ve failed in my civic duty to protect the vulnerable. You do nothing if you want; but don’t have a pop at me for trying.

    JohnA - excellent suggestion, post satirical reviews on the Amazon site, NB style.

    You may have noticed that the book is Amazon Bestsellers Rank: 818,797 , I don't think it will be on the shelves of WHS any time soon. Be careful not to send it up the charts by drawing attention to the rubbish.

    this thread lead me to reading reviews of various massacre-causing manifestos available on Amazon - Mein Kampf seems to attract sympathetic reviewers, averaging 4.5 stars (and disturbingly not for comedy value..), reviews of the Koran cautiously focus on the translation (possible censorship here by Amazon of people reviewing the book itself), Kapital is permitted more active criticism, but my favourite so far is this one of the Bible:
