The Duchess of Cambridge stunned onlookers on Wednesday by appearing for the service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral in a 'nude' frock by Alexander McQueen and a hat by Jane Taylor.
The Duchess wore a nude-coloured, knee-length lace frock with long sleeves.
'By wearing 'nude' Kate moved one step closer to the day the fashion world and British men are waiting for,' said fashion guru Christian Alphonse. 'The day the she appears on the Palace balcony stark bollocks naked.'
It is believed that the Duke of Edinburgh has encouraged the Duchess's nude ambitions, but the Queen is said to have some reservations.
'The Queen has given her consent,' said a Palace spokeswoman, 'but is insistent that the Duchess wears a matching hat.'
