A discussion came up on one of the subs in the writers room as to why do some people seem to keep making the front page and others don't. This is a really hard subject to broach as it will always appear to be a dig at an individual.
The question:- If some writers do make the front page more often than others, why is that?
Is it because they are just bloomin' good at it?
By subbing consistently, do they make their name more well known so people are more likely read what they submit?
By subbing more often, are they constantly getting better?
Do they happen to write in a way that the editor likes?
