Despite being world famous and really really believing in freedom of information, the suspected rapist Julien Assange today was told he must face trial for rape.
"This is a blow for famous suspected rapists everywhere" Assange revealed on his blog "whilst I'm sure that a lot of people accussed of rape should probably face some sort of trial I doubt that these other people are famous and friends of other famous people."
Other celebrity supporters including Jemina Khan and Ken Loach have decried the High Court decision "is Assange a free man?" tweeted Khan, "No. But we must not take NO as an answer #nodoesntmeanno".
The Swedish Court have stated that Assange is "unlikely to get a fair trial in our country" a fact that the Australian born famous suspected rapist has repeated complained about.
"Sweden is notorious for letting it's rape trial outcomes be dicatated by the whims of Washington politicians" confessed a swedish judge recently, "and of course our legal system is well known for calling for its unfair and biased rape trials to go ahead based upon calls from the White House rather than prosecution evidence, chance of conviction, and basic dignity for victims. No it's all a dark conspiracy of course."
