Why has no-one dubbed this Gingergate?
Is the G-word getting a little non-PC???
Doesn't really roll off the tongue, does it?
Mind you, Auburngate is not much better.
"Red-gate".
Solves the problem of being PC and sounds better.
Slapper-gate?
I'm just glad the media hasn't rolled out the apparently obligatory 'gate' tag this time.
I'm waiting for some sort of scandal involving a gate to happen so they all call it 'gategate'. Might have a bit of a wait...
I had a go at the 'gategate' idea:

It wasn't very good.
cowandgate ?
Perhaps the gate has run its course and its water's turn !
Water brooks
Young people like myself refer to scandals as "something-G8" when we are trying to economise on characters in our texts to each other.
For example:-
"OMG, this hacking scandal is worse than Waterg8! ROFL!"
Bedtime Tristan.
Reportergate?
Doh! Been done!
Cow and gate?
who's ur m8 g8? LOL
If it was a right wing issue it would be National Front-Gate.
Ginger lady garden gate. Please insert your own punctuation.
If she has a vajazzle it might be pearly-gate.
Cuntgate I think sums it up best
