Lord Coe has expressed his delight that Olympic relay torches are for sale on eBay saying this
shows that people are getting behind the Olympics and expressing the true Olympic spirit.
"Everyone knows the Olympics are about making a fast buck", said an enthused Coe, "from the bullying lawyers used to protect the use of the logo, to the greedy corporates overcharging for bottled water in the stadia and not forgetting the London taxi drivers welcoming foreign tourists and their wallets to the games. It is wonderful see people getting behind the games and racing from their torch relay stage to their iPhone to beat the competition and list their torch and uniform on eBay."
"I expect there will be further proof of how much people are behind the games", Coe continued, "when a relay torch bearer tests positive for a banned substance."
