There'll be a wild rumpus in heaven tonight...

Indeed.
Sad to hear of his passing, I always read WTWTA when I was sent to bed early. It was an early rebellion.Posted 1 year ago # -
He was the writer who woke my imagination. There was Where The Wild Things Are before anything else.

I loved the softness of his illustrations. They were detailed while being simple.
And for some reason, the paper WTWTA was printed on always seemed more luxurious, and 'turnable' than any other book.Posted 1 year ago # -
Exactly, Jeni. It was a treat, a luxurious treat, every time you read it. When I was eight I dressed as a Wild Thing for a fancy dress party. I think that's still the most awesome I've ever felt.

Perhaps that's the root of your desire to have a tail?

Yes! Good call. Maybe you should be studying the workings of the mind instead of the workings of the law. You could then set up a private just-for-Biscuits practise and bring some much needed sanity into our lives.
Although, between you and me, I suspect that some people here are beyond help.

To be honest, I'd love to study Psychology and Psychiatry, but strongly suspect that I may end up sectioned.

Never read it until I had kids and read it to them, but it's a goodun, like the Gruffalow. For anyone who has kids, you can have a lot of fun writing a story with them. I have an ongoing story with mine that we all chip into, the sillier the better, great fun.
I dread to think what a psychoanalist would make of NB.

I suspect psycho-analists tend to visit other websites...
