An Egyptian man who “mistakingly” thought that the Egyptian Farewell Intercourse Law had already been passed has been awarded undisclosed damages after his passionate farewell to his dead wife’s corpse ended in the deceased having an orgasm. Apparently the unnamed man was so shocked by his ‘beloved’s’ response that he battered her with a nearby hookah killing her outright.
The court upheld the man’s claim that he thought his wife was dead and ‘not just having a lie in’ as the prosecutor alleged, and awarded the above damages stating: the willingness of this man to carry out this beautiful act on what he thought was the corpse of his wife and, that he thought it was lawful, only goes to show what a romantic fool he was, adding: the woman’s death by hookah is inadmissible as the man thought the woman was truly dead as he was saying ‘farewell’.
The court also added: Considering that the woman was well known in the field of Woman’s Rights, we have decided that the deceased wife’s orgasm was probably fake anyway.
A spokeswoman for the P.P.O.S.D.W.Y.F. campaign said, when asked about the case: At least, if the‘farewell intercourse act’ does manage somehow make it into law, unlike in life, we’ll not know when we are getting shafted.
