Sport Relief bosses have today unveiled plans to record a number of charity albums recorded by well loved celebrity personas from stage and screen. The albums will be produced by Brian Eno in an attempt to capture the essence of the charity ethos in a digital format with only pre 1980s synthesisers and drum machines being used in the studio. Already signed up to the project is Sir David Jason who records an album of B-Sides by American metal proggers Queensryche. "I've always loved the 'Scryche and this album will give me the chance to give something back.." says Jason.
Also signed up to the album project are Jasper Carrot who will record his version of Then Jericho's Orgasmaphobia and Celebrity chef Ainsley Harriot who plans a caribbean themed homage to 80's Brit New Wave outfit Sigue Sigue Sputnik.
