The Head of Britain's elite 'hide and seek' team has paid tribute to the 'imagination and professionalism' of MI6 agent Gareth Williams, who was found dead in a hold-all at his London flat.
The men first met on baggage carousel number 7 at London's Heathrow Airport, exchanging business cards through apertures in their respective bags and vowing to stay in touch.
"Gareth always put other people first and provided me with training and support when I revealed my plan to spend a weekend inside a teak bedside cabinet in the summer of 2010. He will be sorely missed."
Up to a hundred members of the association are believed to have attended the funeral but only six were spotted during the course of the service.

Hide seek the humourist answer to all missing persons, I think a NIB is maybe in the bag

New to this Scronny...how do I take this forward? What is NIB ?

A NiB is a News in Brief. The smaller articles on the front page.
Definite potential here, I'm not sure the second paragraph really works though. Maybe replace it with a statement given at a press conference delivered from behind a wardrobe or something?

Old gag but maybe mention that he takes the medal from former champion Terry Waite?

You wouldn't get Terry Waite in a sports bag in a month of Sundays.Imagine if his beard were to get caught in the zip.
Not sure this is a great advert for 'North Face' hold-alls either. I can't walk past mine without giving it a little kick, just in case.Posted 1 year ago # -

<it does now seem, regretfully that the rucksack has replaced the holdall which used to be the terrorists baggage of choice. i think the ira always used a holdall. i guess the terrorists nowadays are less fit than the ones a couple of decades ago-or perhaps it reflects a greater individualism.> sigh

Dear Vertically and Underconstruction, I think the second paragraph is hilarious...the carousel, the apertures, exchange of business cards...
Anyway Vertically, you've had some superb hits here so let's wait and see.Posted 1 year ago #
