Robin Gibb miraculously came out of a coma in the weekend, and he revealed that one motivation in doing so was to frustrate people who had already prepared ironic headlines and bad taste jokes.
“Obviously ‘Staying Alive’ was the potential money shot, but the longer I stayed in the coma the more I was worried about ‘I Gotta Get a Message to You’ ‘I Can’t see Nobody’, or ‘Words’ references” said Gibb.
Gibb then lowered his voice and said: “But just quietly the real reason for waking was in the hope that that would stop my family singing to me”.
