Pop giant Prince, whose real name is Oblong Wallis, has revealed that even he laughs himself to tears over the fact that his massive hit 1999 is now referring to a date that has already happened.
In the pop music number, Prince encourages the listeners and any one involved in the production of the tune to party like its 1999. He's readily admits he's looking foolish now!
"I just never thought we'd make it to 13 years beyond 1999. I had all my money on Y2K causing the end of this dimension, therefore making my hit not only catchy, but a menacing warning to all. Im gutted."
