Dr John Jones of Cardiff University today revealed a Cybotic alternative to talent show judges such as those seen on the” X Factor” or “The Voice”
The Cyber Judge as it known can instantly compare what is being heard on stage with algorithms of successful pop tunes to see if the singer has star quality, “It's a bit like Pete Waterman, only less annoying” Jones went on “ I will not deny there has been one or two teething problems in testing, on one occasion it did think on a would be superstars singing was an alarm and it immediately phone the fire brigade and another time it asked Louis Walsh if sleeping with him would further its career, but on the whole the trial was very successful “.
The advantage of the Cyborg is can be programmed to have different judging personalities that make up the panel. Dr Jones said, “ We are very excited about being able to give it human characteristics so for instance the Cyborg can be Nice, Nasty, A Diva, Sycophantic or even Mincing , it can even be made to either believe or not believe a sickly back story such as that of Susan Boyle’s”.
Dr Jones is now working on the next generation of Cyber judges remarking that the next version of Cyber judges will be able to travel back in time to older auditions, Jones finished off by saying “Wouldn’t it be nice to exterminate Jedward right where it all began”
