Prime Minister David Cameron announced earlier today that research had shown that the Coalition's flagship Big Society initiative had expanded to an unexpectedly large and unsustainable size. "We were faced with the choice of either rebranding it the Enormous Society or taking the tough steps necessary to prevent it expanding out of control", he said. Mr Cameron added that although he personally believed that bigger was better as far as society is concerned, the budget deficit resulting from the overspending of the last Labour government meant that the country could no longer afford a society big enough to include the whole population.

I think this is a good idea. Possibly room for a bit of expansion.
Not too much though, obviously.
