Nick Clegg has been criticied for excepting less than he could from forming a government with the Conservatives . Going into long hours of negotiating , the Liberals were looking for the introduction of proportional representation , a input in cuts to reduce the national debt and a say in immigration policy .
At a news conference Nick Clegg made the announcment ," this is an historic day we have now given the conservatives the majority to form a government and after many hours of tough negotiating in return all our MP's will receive tickets to watch "Top Gear," being recorded . I myself will get to meet Jeremy Clarkson . Many people will think i give the Conversatives a majority cheaply , but i say to them . It's Jeremy Clarkson .Duh. "
Gordon Brown showed his discust for the new alliance . " It is up to Nick Clegg
to make deals he feels that are best for his party , but i would have held out to put on Stigs'helmet for five minutes ."
After being asked about the deal David Cameron talking as he carried a pile of blank expense sheet into No10 Downing Street . "Oh, yes this has cost us a lot ." Cameron then laughed into his hand .
