Following the resounding successful replacement of all serious sports reporters with long haired narcissist Robbie Savage, the BBC has rolled out plans to replace the majority of its journalists and news anchors with ignorant ex-footballers who weren’t quite household names during their playing career.
The changes will be phased in over a 10 month period beginning in August with George Alagiah and Fiona Bruce the first to go. Its thought that their replacements are set to be ex Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Chris Bart Williams and former Ipswich Town favorite Jason Dozzell.
BBC presenter and broadcaster Jeremy Vine told us many feared Journalist degrees could become a thing of the past with aspiring hacks taking to the beautiful game to fulfill a dream of reporting for a newspaper or television. “The traditional route into journalism has changed, in my day it was get your degree, take a minor role at a local paper and work your way up by whatever means were necessary. Now you simply have to play football to a mediocre standard, and if Savage is anything to go by be an annoying opinionated twat.”
Jeremy Vine is set to be replaced by Craig Bellamy in Dec 2012.
