A Shropshire man says he isn't going to bother climbing Mount Everest even if it's been climbed a few times already.
In a letter to the Royal Geographical Society, Bill Hunt, 56, says he won't be climbing the mountain even though he has absolutely no experience of climbing mountains 'unless one of the smaller Malvern Hills counts'.
Climbing experts say Mr Hunt's decision could lead to an avalanche of people not climbing Everest.
Mr Hunt has stuck to his decision even after being told that a toddler wearing only a fleecy babygro recently reached the summit closely followed by a legless man.
The man was later detained charged with being drunk in charge of a mountain.
