...and all I can say is what a disappointing ending.
The first book was good and the film was an excellent telling of the story with all of the implied menace and fear that saturates the lives of the characters in the book.
The second book was quite like the first and took the story on.
The third book should have been a lot better, and had a very disappointing anti-climactic ending. It's like Suzanne Collins ran out of ideas.
I wonder if the filmmakers dare to the ending shown in the book, because people will feel they've been taken for a ride.
