offlineMemberFor what it's worth, I toured the hall some years ago. The official tour guide informed us that the majority of those defenestrated did not die. Due to the position of the garderobes, there was a large pile of human number twos under the window, and most landed on it and survived. The framing points for the garderobes were still visible on the external walls.
As is so often the case, truth is stranger than fiction. And being deep in the sh!t is not always a bad thing.I love the headline though!
