A Leper colony in Africa has put its money where its mouth was, and agreed to come to the aid of struggling 'beauty', Samantha Brick. Hounded by people with a basic grasp of manners, Brick is condemned to a life in which she may never experience the thrill of opening a door for herself.
After reading of her plight in the Daily Mail, the colony in the Sudanese town of Juba realised that time was of the essence, if Brick was to be saved from a fate worse than free wine and flowers. By collecting a number of venomous beetles, parasitic larvae and some meat infected with a face-eating virus, Marwih hopes to save Brick from a lot of unwanted attention.
“If our plan works out as well as we know it will from trials on our family and friends, Brick will soon find all these irritating admirers recoiling in horror”, he insisted. “When we saw the pictures of her in an ample kitchen, waving her bingo wings to the camera, we felt so sorry for her. It must be awful, attracting a French husband.”
