A Cheshire man obsessed with ITV's Coronation Street is blaming the long-running soap for his 'meaningless and confrontational existence'.
The man who cannot be identified for legal reasons claims that storylines from the show have led to the unusual behaviours which have left him socially excluded.
"I find myself going into the local pub just to give people funny looks and to have arguments with ex partners who I know will be in there drinking heavily. I seem to thrive on chance meetings outside my house, even though I have no reason to be standing there most of the time"
Experts treating the patient known only as 'Steve M', have expressed concerns for his safety and well-being, advising him to spend less time in the cab-office and to set aside more for financial planning and re-structuring the business.
