I know someone who crossed swords (and won) with a similar shite Daily Mail writer who banged on about how wondefrul her family was. I wouldn't credit them with anything but self-centred interest or anything remotely approaching intelligence. If the DM got some publicity out of this, I'm sure it was accidental.
