Cheapass Chips, the popular high street chip shop chain intends to beat the budget by installing an innovative range of ambient temperature kitchen appliances. The new appliances known as LowVAT* Fryers operate at or around ambient temperature.
Popular magazine 'Cooking with Cholesterol' found the chips and other LowVAT* snacks to be rather cold and especially greasy so they ticked the important boxes for UK market requirements.
Chief executive of Cheapass Chips, Jaime Olivier, was pleased with the magazine review. "The magazine shows we have listened to the public and delivered what they want. Our independent market research has also shown that the customer gets a longer lasting taste experience. Scientists have explained that due to the lower temperature of the cooking process a barely perceptible layer of grease adheres to the roof of the mouth making the flavour last that bit longer. We expect quite a lot of talk about our products when they are launched. A few pints and some of our snacks and it won't be long before LowVAT is brought up. We hope our products hit the streets soon."
* LowVAT is the registered trade mark of Stein Kalt Kuchenapparat GMBH, Hamburg/Frankfurt.
