offlineMemberNeeds tweaking to fit the ticker, but this is a great idea, and would also have made a great topical FP today if you'd padded it out.
This sort of thing would fit the ticker:
"Firemen strike imminent - Maude urges citizens to start panic-burning houses now"
But I'm a bit sad this isn't the Front Page.
