X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has said she is ‘devastated’ after an intimate video of her sharing a ‘romantic meal for two’ with an ex-boyfriend was circulated on the internet. Contostavlos, the former N-Dubz singer, who apologised to her fans for any offence caused by the video, has since obtained an injunction banning anyone from using, publishing, or masturbating to all or any part of the three course dinner.
In a message posted on her website, the 23-year-old said that the video had been posted by a former boyfriend who ‘enjoys the finer things in life and knows his way around a wine list. As you can imagine, I am devastated, heartbroken, this was one of my favourite Zizzi restaurants," she said.
"When you share an intimate meal with someone that you love, you never imagine for one minute that that footage of you struggling with a lettuce leaf or using the wrong knife will be available to anyone despite the fact that they are pointing a smart-phone at you and asking you to repeat your dessert order.’
‘It's a pretty tough time for me, but I don't feel that I should be the one to take the heat for it. He booked the table using his debit card and he is now pretending that he stayed in that night and had a takeaway.‘ Explicit clips from the meal were uploaded onto the website YouEat.com and were rated by internet users, who left a variety of comments. #Jason4NDubz said ‘Looks like gal taking her time with that Sea Bass - lolz ‘, while #Marty1740 opined ‘OMG – she’s talking with her mouth full! ’
In one scene, since deleted, the star, menu in hand, leans over and asks boyfriend ‘Faz’ what a sommelier is. And eighteen minutes in, she becomes flustered and complains that the menu is ‘all in foreign.’ In later scenes, Contostavlos can be seen using her mouth to talk to a waiter, but despite being shown an impressive selection of wines from both the Old and New World, the star opts for Tizer, which she proceeds to ‘slurp noisily’.
She continued: ‘As much as this is nothing to do with me - I do feel victimised, I apologise to anyone that this has offended, including those with table manners or an interest in sustainable fish. I know for a fact that I will never order Sea Bass again. At least - not with Tizer.’
‘The dessert was delicious by the way, although as is so often the way with this kind of amateur footage, I did end up with cream all over my face. ’
