India's Sachin Tendulkar has become the first player to score some runs since the last one and all in a game that meant a defeat against Bangladesh in Dhaka.
The very well known and famous cricketer said after being dismissed "I was not thinking about the the game or whether we won or lost. The only thing that counted was that I got out there and made some runs."
Former West Indies Test captain Viv Richards Strauss was among a host of players to offer their congratulations to Tendulkar.
He told BBC Sport: "Sachin is a player by which all others are measured if they want to play cricket and that’s get out there and get some runs!”
He was then heard muttering wistfully “I remember when we used to do that in the West Indies”
